Lapachone compounds and methods of use thereof

A compound of Formula I:

• or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt and/or an individual diastereomer thereof, wherein:
• R1, R2, R3, and R4 are each, independently, H, halogen, hydroxyl, unsubstituted or substituted C1-C6 alkyl, unsubstituted or substituted C1-C6 alkoxy, C1-C6 alkoxycarbonyl, amino, alkylamino, dialkylamino, unsubstituted or substituted aryl, unsubstituted or substituted phenyl, unsubstituted or substituted benzyl, unsubstituted or substituted heteroaryl, or unsubstituted or substituted heterocycle, nitro, cyano, carboxyacid, or amide;
• R5 is H, or carboxyacid, or carboxy esters;
• R6 and R7 are each, independently, H, unsubstituted or substituted C1-C6 alkyl, unsubstituted or substituted C1-C6 alkenyl, unsubstituted and substituted C1-C6 alkoxy, unsubstituted or substituted C1-C6 acyl, C1-C6 alkoxycarbonyl, amino, alkylamino, dialkylamino, unsubstituted or substituted aryl, unsubstituted or substituted phenyl, unsubstituted or substituted benzyl, unsubstituted or substituted heteroaryl, or unsubstituted or substituted heterocycle;
• X is H, —ORa, unsubstituted or substituted alkylamino;
• unsubstituted or substituted dialkylamino, or substituted heterocycle;
• Ra is H, unsubstituted or substituted amide, unsubstituted or substituted heterocycle, or substituted silyl;
• provided that
• if X is —ORa and Ra and R1-R5 are each H, then R6 and R7 are not both H;
• if X and R1-R6 are each H, then R7 is not methyl;
• and
• if X, R1-R5 and R7 are each H, then R6 is not methyl.
