Abstract
A computer-implemented method includes identifying one or more application program interfaces from a group of application program interfaces for passing information between a scheduler, which is in communication with a virtual machine executed on a device, and a service provider of the device. The method also includes using the identified one or more application program interfaces to asynchronously pass information between the scheduler and the service provider of the device.
Claims30
A computer-implemented method comprising:
- identifying at least one application program interface from a group of application program interfaces for passing information between a scheduler, which is in communication with a virtual machine executed on a device, and a service provider of the device;
- and
- using the identified at least one application program interface to asynchronously pass information between the scheduler and the service provider of the device.
A system comprising:
- an application program interface selector for identifying at least one application program interface from a group of application program interfaces for passing information between a scheduler, which is in communication with a virtual machine executed on a device, and a service provider of the device;
- and
- a service provider interface manager for initiating use of the identified at least one application program interface to asynchronously pass information between the scheduler and the service provider of the device.
A computer program product, encoded on a computer-readable storage device, operable to cause data processing apparatus to perform operations comprising:
- identifying at least one application program interface from a group of application program interfaces for passing information between a scheduler, which is in communication with a virtual machine executed on a device, and a service provider of the device;
- and
- using the identified at least one application program interface to asynchronously pass information between the scheduler and the service provider of the device.
