Abstract
A level sensor, i.e., a light receiving section (11X) having multiple light receiving elements (PDX1 to PDXn) arranged in parallel. In the level sensor, each two adjacent output terminals of the light receiving elements (PDX1 to PDXn) are connected by one of resistors (RX1 to RXn).
Claims9
A level sensor, comprising:
- a plurality of light receiving elements arranged in parallel, wherein
- each two adjacent output terminals of the plurality of light receiving elements is connected by a resistor,
- a value of the resistor is defined in proportion to an interval between the light receiving elements adjacent to each other, and
- based on signals outputted from both ends of the connected light receiving element, a light receiving position is analyzed by comparing the output signals using an operation control device connected to the level sensor wherein a magnitude of a value of the resistor which is connected to the light receiving element is set according to an interval of the light receiving elements such that signal ratios of the output signals of the light receiving elements become equal thereby the operation control device analyzes the light receiving position using any position along the plurality of light receiving elements as a reference for analyzing the light receiving position.
