A compound comprising:
- wherein X is CH, and R is selected from the group consisting of:
- 2-Cl, 3-CF3;
- p-CF3;
- p-OCH3;
- 3-NO2, 4-CF3;
- and 2,3-O2CH3;
- and
- wherein the compound is an estrogen-related receptor (ERR) agonist.
