Contextual presentation on electronic catalog pages of information reflective of prior orders

An interactive system, comprising:

• a computing system that provides user access to an electronic catalog of items, said electronic catalog comprising item detail pages that correspond to particular items, said item detail pages providing functionality for selecting corresponding items for purchase, said computing system comprising one or more servers;
• a data repository that stores customer-specific order information regarding orders placed by computers for particular items represented in the electronic catalog;
• and
• a data repository that stores item relationship data identifying particular items that are related to each other;
• said computing system programmed to respond to a request, from a computing device associated with a customer, for an item detail page corresponding to a first item by at least (a) using said order information and item relationship data to determine whether the customer previously placed an order for a second item that is related to the first item, and (b) when such a previously placed order is identified, supplementing the item detail page with information reflective of said order, said information identifying the second item.
