Abstract
This invention relates to an integrally weighted baseball cover and system, method and apparatus for quickly delivering the cover and placing it onto an area of a baseball field, such as one or more of the infield areas, such as home base area, first base area, second base area, third base area, pitcher's mound area and/or bullpen areas.
Claims14
A baseball playing area cover delivery system in combination with a baseball area cover comprising:
- a roll for storing a baseball playing area cover;
- each end of said roll comprising a coupler;
- a first member for coupling to said coupler and for lifting said roll and said baseball playing area cover off of the ground when it is being transported to and from a baseball playing area;
- and
- a second member for coupling to said coupler for moving said roll when it is desired to unroll said baseball playing area cover onto said baseball playing area or to take up said baseball playing area cover onto said roll;
- wherein said baseball playing area cover comprises at least one weight-receiving area having weighting therein, and extending around a perimeter of said baseball playing area cover;
- said roll receiving said baseball playing area cover and simultaneously storing said weighting and said baseball playing area cover when said baseball playing area cover is collected on said roll.
