Abstract
Audio data are played back by a personal computer a relationship with a playback process recognized easily. Displays showing the contents of play lists are arranged and displayed so that the contents become continuous in sequence in a playback sequence from content that is currently being played back from a display of an operation element that causes an image of a playback process to appear or from a display showing the content which is currently being played back. When the playback of one piece of content of one play list from among a plurality of play lists is terminated and one piece of content of an other play list is played back, at least the content that is currently being played back and content to be subsequently played back are displayed so that the contents can be distinguished.
Claims24
A playback apparatus comprising:
- means for setting a portion of each content item of a plurality of content items to be partially played back based on a cut-out pattern set according to a selected style of music playback, the cut-out pattern including a randomly set in-point and an out-point set with reference to a randomly set playback time and the randomly set in-point;
- means for selecting each content item in sequence from the plurality of content items to produce a selected sequence of playback;
- and
- means for sequentially playing back the portion of each content item to be partially played back according to the selected sequence of playback.
A playback method, comprising:
- setting, by a processor, a portion of each content item of a plurality of content items to be partially played back based on a cut-out pattern set according to a selected style of music playback, the cut-out pattern including a randomly set in-point and an out-point set with reference to a randomly set playback time and the randomly set in-point;
- selecting each content item in sequence from the plurality of content items to produce a selected sequence of playback;
- and
- sequentially playing back the portion of each content item to be partially played back according to the selected sequence of playback.
A non-transitory computer readable medium storing computer readable instructions thereon that, when executed by an arithmetic processor, direct the arithmetic processor to perform a playback procedure of playing back grouped contents, the playback procedure comprising:
- setting a portion of each content item of a plurality of content items to be partially played back based on a cut-out pattern set according to a selected style of music playback, the cut-out pattern including a randomly set in-point and an out-point set with reference to a randomly set playback time and the randomly set in-point;
- selecting each content item in sequence from the plurality of content items to produce a selected sequence of playback;
- and
- sequentially playing back the portion of each content item to be partially played back according to the selected sequence of playback.
