Abstract
A mobile phone is provided having an elongate body defining a transverse print media path along which print media can be fed, a pagewidth printhead positioned in the body so as to extend transverse to the path, and a feed mechanism positioned in the body to feed the print media along the path during printing.

A mobile phone comprising
- an elongate body defining a print media path along which print media is fed, the print media path having an entry slot along a first longitudinal side of the elongate body and having an exit slot along a second longitudinal side of the elongate body opposite to the first longitudinal side;
- a chassis molding provided within the elongate body and internally supporting the elongate body;
- a printhead module having a pagewidth printhead, the printhead module being slidably and removably engaged with the chassis molding;
- and
- a feed mechanism positioned in the body to feed the print media along the print media path for printing, wherein
- the pagewidth printhead of the printhead module is positioned transverse to the print media path.
