Abstract
Methods, systems, and products disclose a remote control device that controls multiple consumer electronics devices based on orientation.
Claims20
A remote control device, comprising:
- a processor receiving an orientation of the remote control device;
- and
- means for changing a mode of operation of the remote control device in response to a change in the orientation.
A device, comprising:
- a processor communicating with memory, the processor receiving a tilting of the device and selecting a mode of operation that corresponds to the tilting of the device, such that different orientations of the device correspond to different modes of operation.
A data storage device storing instructions for performing a method, the method comprising:
- detecting an orientation of a remote control;
- selecting one of multiple modes of operation that correspond to the orientation;
- and
- changing to a selected mode of operation to control a consumer electronics device.
