Abstract
A vibration actuator driving device includes a plurality of wiring sections and a supply controller. The plurality of wiring sections are disposed correspondingly to a plurality of electrically independent electrodes of an electromechanical conversion element. The wiring sections input driving signals to drive the electromechanical conversion element. The supply controller is capable of independently supplying a driving signal for each respective wiring section.
Claims12
A vibration actuator driving device comprising:
- a plurality of wiring sections disposed correspondingly to a plurality of electrically independent electrodes of an electromechanical conversion element, the wiring sections inputting driving signals to drive the electromechanical conversion element;
- a supply controller capable of independently supplying a driving signal for each respective wiring section;
- and
- a temperature detector to detect a temperature,
- wherein the supply controller selects wiring sections from the plurality of wiring sections to supply the driving signal based on a detection result of the temperature detector.

A method of driving a vibration actuator comprising:
- providing a plurality of wiring sections corresponding to a plurality of electrically independent electrodes of an electromechanical conversion element;
- independently supplying driving signals to each of the plurality of wiring sections to drive the electromechanical conversion element;
- providing a temperature detector to detect temperature;
- and
- selecting wiring sections from the plurality of wiring sections to supply the driving signals based on a detection result of the temperature detector.
