Abstract
Novel [1.2.4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyrazine and imidazo[1,2-a]pyrazine compounds are disclosed that have a formula represented by the following: The compounds may be prepared as pharmaceutical compositions, and may be used for the prevention and treatment of a variety of conditions in mammals including humans, including by way of non-limiting example, pain, inflammation, and others.

A compound according to Formula Ia:
- wherein
- each of W, W′, Y, and Y′ is independently CR2a or N;
- provided that no more than two of W, W′, Y, and Y′ can be N at the same time;
- X is N;
- L is a single bond;
- the ring P is:
- R1 is H;
- each R2a is H;
- and
- R3 is selected from
- wherein m is selected from 0, 1 or 2 and each R3d is independently Me, Cl or F;
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof;
- and stereoisomers thereof.
