Abstract
An organic electroluminescent device includes a pair of electrodes; and an organic layer between the pair of electrodes, which includes a light-emitting layer and contains a compound represented by the following formula (1): wherein each of R1 to R7 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent with the proviso that at least one of R1 to R7 represents a deuterium atom or a substituent containing a deuterium atom.
Claims11
An organic electroluminescent device comprising:
- a pair of electrodes;
- and
- an organic layer between the pair of electrodes, which comprises a light-emitting layer and contains a compound represented by the following Formula (Ia) or Formula (Ic):
- wherein
- each of R2a to R7a independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent with the proviso that at least one of R2a to R7a represents a deuterium atom or a substituent containing a deuterium atom,
- n1a represents an integer of 2 to 6, and
- L1a represents an n1a-valent linking group,
- (Ind)n-L Formula (Ic)
- wherein
- Ind represents a residue structure of the compound of the Formula (I),
- L represents a linking group bound to the 2- or 3-position of the indole ring of the compound of the formula (I), and
- n represents an integer of 2 or greater,
- wherein
- each of R1 to R7 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent with the proviso that at least one of R1 to R7 represents a deuterium atom or a substituent containing a deuterium atom,
- wherein in the above Formula (Ia) and Formula (I), the ratio between deuterium atoms and hydrogen atoms, as represented by the number of deuterium atoms:the number of hydrogen atoms is from 100:0 to 1:99.

An organic electroluminescent device comprising:
- a pair of electrodes;
- and
- an organic layer between the pair of electrodes, which comprises a light-emitting layer and contains a compound represented by the following Formula (Ib):
- wherein
- each of R2b, R3b and R5b represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent with the proviso that at least one of R2b, R3b and R5b represents a deuterium or a substituent containing a deuterium atom
- n1b represents an integer of 2 to 4, and
- L1b represents an n1b-valent linking group,
- wherein in the above Formula (Ib), the ratio between deuterium atoms and hydrogen atoms, as represented by the number of deuterium atoms:the number of hydrogen atoms is from 100:0 to 1:99.
