Valve assemblies for heating devices

An assembly comprising:

• a main valve;
• a burner transport channel;
• an oxygen depletion sensor transport channel;
• a valve assembly, comprising:
• a housing defining:
• a oxygen depletion sensor fuel input communicating with said oxygen depletion sensor transport channel;
• a burner fuel input communicating with said burner transport channel;
• a first oxygen depletion sensor path, said assembly configured to connect combustion of fuel from said first oxygen depletion sensor path to the main valve by an electrical current generated as a result of said combustion;
• a second oxygen depletion sensor path, said assembly configured to connect combustion of fuel from said second oxygen depletion sensor path to the main valve by an electrical current generated as a result of said combustion;
• a first fuel burner path;
• and
• a second fuel burner path;
• a fluid flow controller configured to selectively permit fluid communication between the oxygen depletion sensor fuel input and the first oxygen depletion sensor path and prevent fluid communication with the second oxygen depletion sensor path or permit fluid communication between the oxygen depletion sensor fuel input and the second oxygen depletion sensor path and prevent fluid communication between the oxygen depletion sensor fuel input and the first oxygen depletion sensor path, and configured to selectively permit fluid communication between the burner fuel input and the first fuel burner path and prevent communication with the second fuel burner path or permit fluid communication between the burner fuel input and the second burner path;
• and
• a single actuator configured to control the fluid flow controller to determine the fluid flow path through the valve assembly;
• a first burner nozzle member defining an inlet, the inlet of the first burner nozzle member in fluid communication with the first fuel burner path;
• a second burner nozzle member defining an inlet, the inlet of the second burner nozzle member in fluid communication with the second fuel burner path;
• a first oxygen depletion sensor nozzle and a second oxygen depletion sensor nozzle, wherein the first oxygen depletion sensor path is configured to direct fuel to the first oxygen depletion sensor nozzle and wherein the second oxygen depletion sensor path is configured to direct fuel to the second oxygen depletion sensor nozzle.
