An X-ray image processing system, comprises: a radiographing section including an X-ray source to emit X-rays for an object to be radiographed and an image detector to detect X-rays having passed through the object, wherein the radiographing section is adapted to conduct a phase contrast radiography by providing a space between the object and the image detector and by irradiating X-rays having an X-ray energy of 15 to 30 (keV) from the X-ray source to the object; an image data producing section to produce X-ray image data of X-ray image detected by the image detector; an image processing section to applying an image processing including a noise reducing process for the produced X-ray image data; and an output section to output the processed image data applied with the image processing.

This application is based on Japanese Patent Application No. 2006-225668 filed on Aug. 22, 2006, in Japanese Patent Office, the entire content of which is hereby incorporated by reference.
The present invention relates to an X-ray image processing system by which X-ray image data is generated by the X-ray photography and outputted.
A baby, an infant, or a child of six years old or under (hereinafter, called a child) is different from an adult, because almost marrow are red marrow, the effect due to the exposure to radiation is large. Accordingly, the reduction of exposure amount is more required than adult and when the X-ray photographing is conducted on child, because the exposure amount is suppressed to the minimum, it is necessary that the photographing condition is adjusted and the reduction of X-ray radiation amount is intended.
FIG. 1 is a view showing the system structure of X-ray image processing system in the present embodiment.
FIG. 2 is a view showing an example of a X-ray photographing apparatus.
FIG. 3 is a view explaining the phase contrast photographing and the phase contrast effect.
In the present embodiment, when the X-ray image whose sharpness of side edge part is high is obtained by the phase contrast radiography, and conducting the noise reduction processing on the X-ray image, an example of the X-ray image processing system by which even under a small amount of radiation (the low dose), the high image quality X-ray image can be provided, will be described.
Initially, a structure will be described.
In FIG. 1, the system structure of the X-ray image processing system 1 in the present embodiment is shown. As shown in FIG. 1, the X-ray image processing system is structured by providing with photographing apparatus 10a-10c, reading apparatus 10d, control server 20, image processing apparatus 30, image server 40, film output apparatus 50a, image diagnostic apparatus (trace-reading apparatus) 50b, 50c. Each apparatus is structured in the manner that they can mutually communicate through a network N.
