Abstract
A camera is provided having a camera module, a network interface module and printing module. The camera module receives user input and captures the image with an image sensor in response to the user input. The interface module transfers the captured image to a computer system. The printing module prints an interface onto a surface including the image and coded data at least partially indicative of an identity of the image. This allows the identity of the image to be obtained from the interface. The interface module receives the image from the computer system and the printing module receives the image from the network interface module and print the image on a second surface.
Claims7
A camera for capturing and printing an image, the camera comprising:
- (a) a camera module, including an image sensor, configured to:
- (i) receive a user input;
- and
- (ii) capture, via the image sensor and in response to the user input, the image;
- (b) a network interface module configured to:
- (i) receive, from the camera module, the image;
- and
- (ii) transfer the image to a computer system;
- and
- (c) a printing module, including a printing mechanism and a supply of pages for the printing mechanism, configured to:
- (i) receive, from the camera module, the image;
- and
- (ii) print an interface onto a surface of a page of the page supply, each page having an identity assigned by the computer system, the interface including the image and coded data at least partially indicative of the identity of the page and an identity of the image associated with the identity of the page, thereby allowing the identities of the page and image to be obtained from the interface, wherein the network interface module is further configured to receive another image from the computer system, and the printing module is configured to receive, from the network interface module, the another image, and print the another image on a second surface of the page.
