Claims13
A method of treating a bone disorder in a mammal, increasing bone mass density in a mammal, or increasing osteoblast formation in a mammal, comprising administering to the mammal a therapeutically effective amount of a peptide that is up to 50 amino acid residues in length and that comprises (a) amino acid residues 177-191 of human growth hormone or (b) any of SEQ ID NOS:
- 1-22.
A method of treating a bone disorder in a mammal, increasing bone mass density in a mammal, or increasing osteoblast formation in a mammal, comprising administering to the mammal a pharmaceutical composition that comprises a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier in combination with a therapeutically effective amount of a peptide that is up to 50 amino acid residues in length and that comprises (a) amino acid residues 177-191 of human growth hormone or (b) any of SEQ ID NOS:1-22.
