Abstract
A method is provided for the thermo-neutral reforming of liquid hydrocarbon fuels which employs a Ni, Ce2O3, La2O3, Pt−ZrO2, Rh and Re catalyst having dual functionalities to achieve both combustion and steam reforming.
Claims3
A catalyst which comprises:
- 0.5 to 15%, by weight, Ni;
- 0.5 to 10%, by weight Ce2O3;
- 0.5 to 5%, by weight, La2O3;
- 0.1 to 2.0%, by weight, Pt;
- 0.5 to 3%, by weight, ZrO2;
- 0.1 to 2%, by weight, Rh, and 0.1 to 2%, by weight, Re on a single refractory support consisting of one or more oxides of aluminum or silicon for use in a thermo-neutral reforming process.
