Abstract
An optical information recording medium, which is made of a resin provided with photoreactivity containing organometal compound, has a recording layer on which, after a photoreaction are brought about when predetermined initialization light is irradiated to the medium and then the resin is hardened, at a time of recording information, a recording mark is formed when predetermined recording light is condensed to the medium, and a temperature of the medium near a focal point of the recording light is increased and the organometal compound is transubstantiated, and at a time of reproducing information, the information is reproduced based on returned light according to predetermined reading light being irradiated.
Claims17
An optical information recording medium comprising:
- a recording layer including a photoreactive resin containing an organometal compound, at least a part of the resin being uniformly hardened via a photoreaction caused by irradiating the medium with a predetermined initialization light having a wavelength of 365 nm, the initialization light being parallel light;
- and
- a recording mark formed in the recording layer via a predetermined recording light being condensed to the medium and a temperature of the medium near a focal point of the recording light being increased such that the organometal compound is transubstantiated,
- wherein the recording layer is configured such that, at a time of reproducing information, the information is reproduced based on returned light according to a predetermined reading light being irradiated.
An optical information recording medium comprising:
- a recording layer including a photoreactive resin containing an inorganic metal compound TiO2/H2PtCl6, at least a part of the resin being uniformly hardened via a photoreaction caused by irradiating the medium with a predetermined initialization light;
- and
- a recording mark formed in the recording layer via a predetermined recording light being condensed to the medium and a temperature of the medium near a focal point of the recording light being increased such that the inorganic metal compound is transubstantiated,
- wherein the recording layer is configured such that, at a time of reproducing information, the information is reproduced based on returned light according to a predetermined reading light being irradiated.
A method of recording and reproducing information on an optical information recording medium including a recording layer, the method comprising:
- initializing at least a part of the recording layer, which includes a photoreactive resin containing an inorganic metal compound TiO2/H2PtCl6, the step of initializing including uniformly hardening the resin via a photoreaction by irradiating the medium with a predetermined initialization light,
- creating a recording mark in the recording layer to record information by condensing a predetermined recording light to the medium and increasing a temperature of the medium near a focal point of the recording light such that the inorganic metal compound is transubstantiated, and
- irradiating the recording mark in the recording medium with a predetermined reading light to reproduce the information based on returned light.
