Abstract
A new class of dibenzothiophene and/or dibenzofuran-containing compounds are provided. The new compounds may be useful in organic light emitting devices, particularly as the host of an emissive layer having a host and an emissive dopant, or as a material in an enhancement layer.
Claims12
A compound selected from the group consisting of:
- wherein each of R1 through R8 are independently selected from the group consisting of any alkyl, alkoxy, amino, alkenyl, alkynyl, arylkyl, aryl, heteroaryl and hydrogen, and where each of R1 through R8 may represent multiple substitutions.
An organic light emitting device comprising:
- an anode;
- a cathode;
- and
- an organic layer, disposed between the anode and the cathode, the organic layer further comprising a compound selected from the group consisting of:
- wherein each of R1 through R8 are independently selected from the group consisting of any alkyl, alkoxy, amino, alkenyl, alkynyl, arylkyl, aryl, heteroaryl and hydrogen, and where each of R1 through R8 may represent multiple substitutions.
