A composition and method for treating mammals suffering from malignant tumors which involves administering a composition including ammoniated mercury, zinc oxide and citric acid.

An anti-tumor composition a comprising about 0.1 to about 10 grams of ammoniated mercury, about 0.1 to about 50 grams of zinc oxide and about 0.1 to about 100 grams of citric acid.
