Power semiconductor module for inverter circuit system

A power conversion device comprising:

• a power semiconductor module that inverts direct current into alternating current;
• and
• a channel-case having formed therein a channel adapted to flow a coolant therein, wherein
• the power semiconductor module includes a power semiconductor element, a case that is adapted to accommodate the power semiconductor element, a main terminal that transmits the direct current or the alternating current, and a control terminal that transmits a control signal to the power semiconductor element,
• the case includes a first heat dissipation member and a second heat dissipation member facing opposite to each other through the power semiconductor element, and a top case section with a flange,
• the flange of the top case section has a surface configuration larger than a surface configuration of a bottom surface of the case,
• the power semiconductor module is arranged in the channel, with the flange of the top case section being fixed to the channel-case,
• the top case section is provided with a through-hole communicating an outside of the case with a space between the first heat dissipation member and the second heat dissipation member,
• the main terminal and the control terminal extend through the through-hole to protrude out of the case, and
• a mold resin material is filled in the space between the first and second heat dissipation members and in the through-hole.
