Abstract
Methods, systems, devices, and computer program products include positioning single-use radiation sensor patches that have adhesive means onto the skin of a patient to evaluate the radiation dose delivered during a treatment session. The sensor patches are configured to be minimally obtrusive and operate without the use of externally extending power cords or lead wires.
Claims10
A method of fabricating radiation sensor patches, comprising:
- providing a plurality of radiation-sensitive elements in a high-density pattern on a unitary sheet of substrate material, wherein the radiation-sensitive elements comprise semiconductor components;
- calibrating at least one of the plurality of radiation-sensitive elements;
- and
- separating the plurality of radiation-sensitive elements from the unitary sheet of substrate material into a plurality of discrete radiation sensor patches.
A method of fabricating radiation sensor patches, comprising:
- providing a plurality of radiation-sensitive elements in a high-density pattern on a unitary sheet of substrate material;
- calibrating at least one of the plurality of radiation-sensitive elements;
- and
- separating the plurality of radiation-sensitive elements from the unitary sheet of substrate material into a plurality of discrete radiation sensor patches,
- wherein calibrating at least one of the plurality comprises calibrating the plurality of radiation-sensitive elements simultaneously utilizing a calibration line provided on the unitary sheet that electrically couples the plurality of radiation-sensitive elements.
A method of fabricating radiation sensor patches, comprising:
- providing a plurality of radiation-sensitive elements in a high-density pattern on a unitary sheet of substrate material;
- calibrating at least one of the plurality of radiation-sensitive elements using pre-irradiation threshold voltage data;
- programming a memory storage device provided on at least one of the radiation-sensitive elements with radiation calibration data obtained from the calibrating step;
- and
- separating the plurality of radiation-sensitive elements from the unitary sheet of substrate material into a plurality of discrete radiation sensor patches.
