Abstract
A diving suit made of a rubber material comprising HNBR (hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber) is disclosed, as well as a process for the production of the diving suit and the use of HNBR in a rubber material of a diving suit for use in contaminated water.
Claims10
A process for the production of a diving suit, comprising:
- calendaring a rubber material comprising HNBR (hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber);
- cutting the calendared rubber material into pieces of a diving suit;
- sewing the diving suit pieces together with seams;
- covering the seams of the diving suit with a rubber tape;
- and
- vulcanizing a resulting whole diving suit.
