Aqueous pigment preparations

An aqueous pigment preparation comprising

• (A) at least one organic pigment, inorganic pigment or a combination thereof,
• (B) a dispersant of formula (I) or (II) or mixtures of dispersants of formulae (I) and (II),
• wherein
• the indices a, b and c indicate the molar fraction of the respective monomers
• a=0.01-0.8
• b=0.001-0.8
• c=0.001-0.8
• provided the sum total of a+b+c is 1, and
• A is C2-C4-alkylene,
• B is a C2-C4-alkylene other than A,
• R is hydrogen or methyl,
• m is from 1 to 500;
• n is from 1 to 500;
• provided the sum total of m+n is from 2 to 1000;
• X1 is an aromatic or araliphatic radical having 3 to 30 carbon atoms optionally containing one or more of the hetero atoms N, O and S,
• Z1 is H or (C1-C4)-alkyl,
• Z2 is H or (C1-C4)-alkyl,
• Z3 is H or (C1-C4)-alkyl;
• R1 is hydrogen or methyl,
• X2 is an aromatic or araliphatic radical having 3 to 30 carbon atoms optionally containing one or more of the heteroatoms N, O and S,
• W1 is oxygen or an NH group,
• R2 is hydrogen or methyl,
• Y is an aliphatic hydrocarbyl radical having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, optionally linear, branched or cyclic, and optionally contains hetero atoms O, N S or a combination thereof and optionally is unsaturated,
• W2 is oxygen or an NH group;
• (C) optionally wetters,
• (D) optionally further surfactants, dispersants or a combination thereof,
• (E) optionally one or more organic solvents, one or more hydrotropic substances or a combination thereof,
• (F) optionally further additive materials customary for preparing aqueous pigment dispersions, and
• (G) water.
