Abstract
Vibration protection in a compressor system with a variable speed compressor may include operating a variable speed compressor at a plurality of frequencies, measuring a plurality of vibration values associated with the plurality of frequencies, determining a frequency characteristic of the compressor system based on the plurality of vibration values, and identifying prohibited compressor frequencies based on the frequency characteristic.
Claims22
A method of vibration protection in a compressor system with a variable speed compressor comprising:
- operating a variable speed compressor at a plurality of frequencies;
- measuring a plurality of vibration values associated with the plurality of frequencies;
- determining a frequency characteristic of the compressor system based on the plurality of vibration values;
- and
- identifying prohibited frequencies of the compressor based on the frequency characteristic.
