Topical ophthalmic or otic solution formulations containing moxifloxacin hydrochloride and dexamethasone phosphate

An aqueous, preserved, multi-dose, topically administrable otic solution composition consisting essentially of

• a) 0.545% (w/v) moxifloxacin hydrochloride;
• b) 0.11% (w/v) dexamethasone sodium phosphate;
• c) 0.01% (w/v) edetate disodium;
• d) 0.5-0.75% (w/v) sodium chloride;
• e) 0.3% (w/v) boric acid;
• f) 0.01% (w/v) benzalkonium chloride;
• g) 0.05% (w/v) tyloxapol;
• h) NaOH or HCl in an amount sufficient to cause the composition to have a pH from 7.8-8.0;
• and
• i) water.
