Abstract
The present invention relates to methods of treating intermittent claudication comprising administering glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) molecules to subjects suffering therefrom.

A method of treating intermittent claudication in a subject comprising:
- administering to a subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of a molecule selected from the group consisting of GLP-1(1-37) (SEQ ID NO:
- 1), GLP-1(1-36)amide (SEQ ID NO:
- 2), GLP-1(7-37) (SEQ ID NO:
- 3), GLP-1(7-36)amide (SEQ ID NO:
- 4), exendin-3 (SEQ ID NO:7), exendin-4(SEQ ID NO:9) and a peptide sequence having greater than 90% sequence identity to any of SEQ ID NOs:
- 1-4;
- thereby treating intermittent claudication in the subject.
