Abstract
An OLED device comprises an anode and a cathode and located there-between a light emitting layer containing a light emitting dopant and a host comprising a monoanthracene derivative.
Claims19
An OLED device having an anode and a cathode and located there-between a light emitting layer comprising:
- a) a host including a monoanthracene derivative of formula (I):
- wherein
- R1-R8 are H;
- R9 is an unsubstituted naphthyl;
- R10 is an unsubstituted biphenyl;
- and
- b) a guest emitting material or materials comprising a member selected from the group consisting of derivatives of perylene, quinacridone and aminostyryl in the range of 0.6% to 4% by volume.
An OLED device comprising an anode and a cathode and located there-between a light emitting layer containing a light emitting dopant and a host comprising a monoanthracene derivative of formula (I):
- wherein
- R1-R8 are H;
- R9 is an unsubstituted naphthyl;
- R10 is an unsubstituted biphenyl;
- and
- wherein the OLED device includes one or more light emitting layers with compounds sufficient to emit white light.
An OLED device having an anode and a cathode and located there-between a light emitting layer comprising:
- a) a host including a monoanthracene derivative of formula (I):
- wherein
- R1-R8 are H;
- R9 is an unsubstituted naphthyl;
- R10 is an unsubstituted biphenyl;
- and
- b) a co-host;
- and
- c) a light-emitting dopant, wherein the light emitting dopant comprises a member selected from the group consisting of derivatives of perylene, quinacridone and aminostyryl in the range of 0.6% to 4% by volume.
An OLED device comprising an anode and a cathode and located there-between a light emitting layer containing a light emitting dopant and a host comprising a monoanthracene derivative of formula (I):
- wherein
- R1-R8 are H;
- R9 is an unsubstituted naphthyl;
- and
- R10 is an unsubstituted biphenyl;
- wherein the light emitting material comprises a member selected from the group consisting of derivatives of perylene, quinacridone and aminostyryl in the range of 0.6% to 4% by volume;
- and
- wherein the OLED device includes a hole-blocking layer.
A light emitting device comprising a plurality of stacked organic light emitting devices wherein at least one light emitting layer contains a light emitting dopant and a host comprising a monoanthracene derivative of formula (I):
- wherein
- R1-R8 are H;
- R9 is an unsubstituted naphthyl;
- R10 is an unsubstituted biphenyl;
- and
- wherein the light emitting dopant comprises a member selected from the group consisting of derivatives of perylene, quinacridone and aminostyryl in the range of 0.6% to 4% by volume.
