A method of controlling fungal attack comprising applying to the soil, plant, roots, foliage, seed or locus of a fungi, or to a locus in which infestation of fungi is to be prevented, a fungicidal effective amount of one or more compounds of the formula
- wherein B is defined as either a bond or an alkylene group, and A is defined as either OH or H.
