Abstract
A patient support is provided for supporting a patient. Patient support includes a frame, a deck, a mattress and siderails. The deck includes a panel having apertures that receive upside down U-shaped wire loops therein to removably couple the panel to the frame. Top portions of the wire loops extend above the panel and serve as restraint strap holders.
Claims18
A patient support comprising
- a frame,
- a mattress-support deck supported by the frame, the mattress-support deck including at least one panel removably coupled to the frame, the at least one panel having a plurality of apertures therethrough,
- a plurality of wire loops coupled to the frame, each of the wire loops being received within a respective one of the plurality of apertures in the at least one panel to removably couple the at least one panel to the frame, and
- a mattress, the mattress covering the plurality of wire loops and the plurality of apertures when the mattress is supported by the mattress-support deck.

A patient support comprising
- a frame,
- a mattress-support deck supported by the frame, the mattress-support deck including at least one panel removably coupled to the frame, the at least one panel having a plurality of apertures therethrough, and
- a plurality of wire loops coupled to the frame, each of the wire loops being received within a respective one of the plurality of apertures in the at least one panel to removably couple the at least one panel to the frame, wherein the at least one panel comprises a plurality of panels each having an associated plurality of apertures that receive associated ones of the wire loops.
A patient support comprising
- a frame,
- a mattress-support deck supported by the frame, the mattress-support deck including at least one panel removably coupled to the frame, the at least one panel having a plurality of apertures therethrough,
- a plurality of wire loops coupled to the frame, each of the wire loops being received within a respective one of the plurality of apertures in the at least one panel to removably couple the at least one panel to the frame, and
- a mattress supported on the mattress support deck and wherein the at least one panel has upwardly extending structures at opposite lateral ends of the at least one panel to restrain lateral movement of the mattress relative to the at least one panel.

A patient support comprising
- a frame,
- a mattress-support deck supported by the frame, the mattress-support deck including at least one panel removably coupled to the frame, the at least one panel having a plurality of apertures therethrough,
- a plurality of restraint strap holders coupled to the frame, each of the restraint strap holders extending through a respective one of the plurality of apertures in the at least one panel to removably couple the at least one panel to the frame, the restraint strap holder being configured to hold a restraint strap that is used to secure a patient to the patient support, and
- a mattress, the mattress covering the plurality of restraint strap holders and the plurality of apertures when the mattress is supported by the mattress-support deck.
