Therapeutic or prophylactic agent for multiple sclerosis

A method for treating multiple sclerosis comprising administering an effective amount of (a) a compound of Formula (I) to a subject in need thereof:

• wherein
• R1 represents hydrogen or C1-C5 alkyl:
• X independently represents fluoro, chloro, bromo, iodo or C1-C3 alkyl;
• V represents —CH═CH— or —C≡C—;
• Y represents Formula (II) or Formula (III):
• wherein
• R2 represents C1-C5 alkyl or C1-C3 alkoxy;
• R3 represents hydrogen or C1-C5 alkyl;
• m represents an integer of 0 to 3;
• n represents 0 or 1;
• p represents an integer of 0 to 2;
• W represents —O— or —N(R4)—
• wherein
• R4 represents hydrogen, C1-C5 alkyl, C3-C6 alkenyl, phenyl, benzyl, benzyl substituted with one or two R5s, tetrahydropyranyl, —(CH2)q—O—CH3, pyridylmethyl, —(CH2)q—CN, C4-C7 cycloalkymethyl or thiazol-4-ylmethyl;
• R5 represents hydroxyl or C1-C3 alkoxy;
• and
• q represents an integer of 1 to 3;
• or (b) a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound of said Formula (I).
