Pellets, comprising entrapped and immobilized sludge containing nitrifying bacteria, the sludge obtained from purifying water
- wherein:
- the entrapped and immobilized sludge has a VSS/SS ratio of 0.1 to 0.3, a VSS concentration of 0.2 weight % to 2 weight %, an SS concentration of 2 weight % or more, and an average particle size of 10 μm to 30 μm.
