The present invention relates to novel 1,2,3-substituted indolizine derivative which are inhibitors of fibroblast growth factors, to methods or preparing such derivatives, to pharmaceutical compositions comprising such derivatives, and to methods of treatment comprising such derivatives.

A compound of formula I,
- in which
- R1 represents a linear or branched alkoxy radical of 1 to 5 carbon atoms,
- R2 represents an alkyl radical of 1 to 5 carbon atoms,
- A represents a radical —SO—or —SO2—,
- R3 and R4, which are identical or different, each represent a hydrogen atom, an amino radical, a carboxyl radical, or a nitro radical;
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
