Abstract
An isolated multipotent neural stem cells has a phenotype identified by expression of the protein β-tubulin IV and Olig2 and the absence of the proteins NG2, PLP, and GFAP.
Claims8
An isolated and enriched population of human multipotent neural stem cells, the cells expressing the protein β-tubulin IV (βT4) and oligodendrocyte 2 (Olig2) and not expressing the proteins neural/glial cell 2 (NG2), proteolipid protein (PLP), and glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), the cells being capable of differentiating into cells of more than one neural lineage.
