An acetylated softwood lignin fiber having a diameter of 5 to 100 microns.
Claims4
A melt spun acetylated softwood lignin fiber having a diameter of 5 to 100 microns and wherein the acetyl content of the lignin is between 16% and 22% by weight as measured by de-acetylation in alkali followed by ion chromatography.
