Abstract
The present invention is directed to a method of using a multilayered fabric comprising a first absorbable nonwoven fabric and a second absorbable woven or knitted fabric in tissue repair and regeneration.

A method of tissue repair and regeneration, said method comprising:
- preparing a repair site for implantation, providing a reinforced absorbable multilayered fabric, said fabric comprising:
- a first absorbable nonwoven fabric comprising staple having a length from about 1.5 to 2 inches, and a second absorbable woven or knitted fabric, and disposing said fabric at said site.
