## Claims

### Claim 1

A method for treating prostate neoplasia in a subject, comprising the step of administering an effective amount of a composition to said subject to treat said prostate neoplasia, said composition comprising, in combination:
(a) therapeutically effective amounts of supercritical extracts of rosemary, turmeric, oregano and ginger; therapeutically effective amounts of hydroalcoholic extracts of holy basil, ginger, turmeric, Scutellaria baicalensis, rosemary, green tea, huzhang, Chinese goldthread, and barberry; and
(b) a therapeutically effective amount of an antineoplastic agent selected from the group consisting of mitoxantrone, doxorubicin, vinblastine, paclitaxel, docetaxel, estramustine phosphate, etoposide, carboplatin, vinorelbine, and a combination thereof,
and provided that said prostate neoplasia is not prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein element (a) of said composition is administered orally.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, wherein the orally administered element (a) of said composition is in the form of one or more capsules, one or more tablets, or one or more pills.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein said composition is administered in a daily dosage of at least about 700 mg.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein said composition is administered on a daily basis for at least 4 weeks.

### Claim 6

A method for treating at least one cancerous tumor of the prostate in a subject, comprising the step of administering an effective amount of a composition to said subject to treat said tumor, said composition comprising, in combination:
(a) therapeutically effective amounts of supercritical extracts of rosemary, turmeric, oregano and ginger; therapeutically effective amounts of hydroalcoholic extracts of holy basil, ginger, turmeric, Scutellaria baicalensis, rosemary, green tea, huzhang, Chinese goldthread, and barberry; and
(b) a therapeutically effective amount of an antineoplastic agent selected from the group consisting of mitoxantrone, doxorubicin, vinblastine, paclitaxel, docetaxel, estramustine phosphate, etoposide, carboplatin, vinorelbine, and a combination thereof.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein element (a) of said composition is administered orally.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The method of claim 7, wherein the orally administered element (a) of said composition is in the form of one or more capsules, one or more tablets, or one or more pills.

### Claim 9 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein said at least one cancerous tumor is detected during surgery on the prostate of said subject, having not been felt by a physician on physical examination of said subject.

### Claim 10 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein said at least one cancerous tumor is confined to the prostate of said subject and is detected by a physician on physical examination of said subject.

### Claim 11 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein cancer related to said at least one cancerous tumor extends beyond the prostate capsule of said subject, but has not spread to lymph nodes in said subject.

### Claim 12 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein cancer related to said at least one cancerous tumor is metastasized to regional lymph nodes or other parts of said subject.

### Claim 13

A method for minimizing a side effect associated with prostate neoplasia in a subject, comprising administering an effective amount of a composition to said subject to treat said side effect, said composition comprising, in combination:
(a) therapeutically effective amounts of supercritical extracts of rosemary, turmeric, oregano and ginger; therapeutically effective amounts of hydroalcoholic extracts of holy basil, ginger, turmeric, Scutellaria baicalensis, rosemary, green tea, huzhang, Chinese goldthread, and barberry; and
(b) a therapeutically effective amount of an antineoplastic agent selected from the group consisting of mitoxantrone, doxorubicin, vinblastine, paclitaxel, docetaxel, estramustine phosphate, etoposide, carboplatin, vinorelbine, and a combination thereof,
wherein said side effect is selected from the group consisting of disrupted sexual desire or performance on either a temporary or permanent basis, impotence, and urinary incontinence.

### Claim 14 (depends on 13)

The method of claim 13, wherein element (a) of said composition is administered orally.

### Claim 15 (depends on 14)

The method of claim 14, wherein the orally administered element (a) of said composition is in the form of one or more capsules, one or more tablets, or one or more pills.

### Claim 16 (depends on 13)

The method of claim 13, wherein said side effect so treated comprises disrupted sexual performance.

### Claim 17

A method for minimizing an effect associated with prostate neoplasia in a subject, comprising administering an effective amount of a composition to said subject to minimize said effect, said composition comprising, in combination:
(a) therapeutically effective amounts of supercritical extracts of rosemary, turmeric, oregano and ginger; therapeutically effective amounts of hydroalcoholic extracts of holy basil, ginger, turmeric, Scutellaria baicalensis, rosemary, green tea, huzhang, Chinese goldthread, and barberry; and
