Abstract
The present application provides peptides that serve as substrates for proteasome enzymatic activity, e.g., the enzymatic activity of Rpn11, a metalloprotease of the 19S regulatory particle. The present application also provides methods and compositions employing the peptide substrates.
Claims28
An isolated peptide comprising an amino acid sequence at least 80% identical to SEQ ID NO:1 and at least one ubiquitin moiety that is at least 90% identical to the first 76-amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:2, wherein a deubiquitinating protease deubiquitinates the peptide.
