Abstract
The present invention provides a graft polymer and compositions comprising a cyclic olefin polymer characterized by having a glass transition temperature of about 60° C. to 250° C. and a molecular weight of about 400 to 300000, and a fluorocarbon alkyl group grafted on the cyclic olefin polymer.

A graft polymer comprising a cyclic olefin polymer having the formula:
- wherein
- x is 1 to 4, y is 1 to 4, z is 0.1 to 10, n is 200 to 2000;
- and
- Rf is a C1-30 fluorocarbon alkyl chain containing at least one fluorine atom, wherein the cyclic olefin polymer is characterized by having a glass transition temperature of about 60° C. to 250° C. and a molecular weight of about 400 to 300000.
