Abstract
A method of producing an acrylic block copolymer comprising hydrophobic poly (lower alkyl methacrylate), hydrophilic poly (lower alkyl methacrylic acid), and hydrophobic poly (lower alkyl methacrylate) is disclosed.
Claims8
A method to prepare an amide of a methacrylic block copolymer, comprising the step:
- reacting an anionically polymerized block copolymer of methyl methacrylate-methacrylic acid-methyl methacrylate (MMA-MAA-MMA), with a 3,4-dihydroxyphenyl alanine (DOPA) to provide an amide of the block copolymer.
