Chromone derivatives useful as antagonists of VR1 receptors

A compound of the formula

• R1 is halogen or C1-C8alky phenyl substituted with 1, 2 or 3 substituents each independently selected from halogen or cyano;
• R3 is hydrogen;
• R4 is hydrogen, or formyl;
• and
• N—R5 and R6, taken together, are a moiety N—X—O (lbb), in which —X—is —C(═O)—or —(CH2,)a—, in which a is 2 or 3 and in which any methylene group, independently from any other methylene group in the moiety lbb, is, optionally, mono-substituted by oxo or substituted by 1 or 2 substituents, selected from the group consisting of C1-C6alkyl and hydroxy-C1-C6alkyl, or N—R5 and R6—, taken together, are a moiety N—C(Ra)═C(Rb)— (ldd), in which Ra is hydrogen and Rb is C1-C6alkyl, or N—R5 and R6—, taken together, are a moiety N—C(Rc)═N— (lee), in which Rc is hydrogen, C1-C6alkyl or halo-C1-C6alkyl, or N—R5 and R6—, taken together, are a moiety N—N═C(Rd)— (lff), in which Rd is hydrogen or C1-C6alkyl, or N—R5, and R6—, taken together, are a moiety N—N═C(R1)— (Ig), in which R1 is halogen, or N—R5 and R6—, taken together, are a moiety N—N═N— (Ih) or N—R5 and R6—, taken together, are a moiety N—(CH2,)2—N(H)—C(Rg)H— (Iii), in which Rg is hydrogen;
