Abstract
A printing unit includes a support structure. The support structure includes a body portion with a tray positioned at one end of the body portion and a connector positioned at an opposing end of the body portion. A media supply cartridge is mounted on the body portion and is suitable for storing a stack of print media. A feed arrangement is mounted on the body portion and is configured to feed print media from the stack for printing. A print head assembly is mounted on the tray and is configured to print upon the fed print media.
Claims8
A printing unit comprising:
- a support structure having a body portion with a tray positioned at one end of the body portion and a connector positioned at an opposite end of the body portion;
- a media supply cartridge located between the connector and a print head assembly, the cartridge mounted on the body portion for storing a stack of print media;
- a feed arrangement mounted on the body portion and configured to feed print media from the stack for printing;
- and
- the print head assembly mounted on the tray and configured to print on the fed print media.
