Abstract
Methods and compositions that include a method comprising providing a treatment fluid that comprises an aqueous base fluid, a biocide, a biocide enhancer, a friction reducer, and a compatibility aid, and introducing the treatment fluid into a subterranean formation. A composition provided includes a treatment fluid comprising an aqueous base fluid, a biocide, a biocide enhancer, a friction reducer, and a compatibility aid.

A method comprising:
- providing a treatment fluid that comprises:
- an aqueous base fluid,
- a biocide,
- a biocide enhancer,
- a friction reducer, and
- a compatibility aid, wherein the compatibility aid at least partially prevents the friction reducer and biocide enhancer from reacting so as to form a precipitate;
- and
- introducing the treatment fluid into a subterranean formation.

A method of fracturing a subterranean formation comprising:
- providing a fracturing fluid;
- providing a treatment fluid that comprises:
- an aqueous base fluid,
- a biocide,
- a biocide enhancer,
- a friction reducer, and
- a compatibility aid, wherein the compatibility aid at least partially prevents the friction reducer and biocide enhancer from reacting so as to form a precipitate;
- treating the fracturing fluid with the treatment fluid;
- and
- introducing the fracturing fluid into the subterranean formation at a pressure sufficient to create or extend at least one fracture in the subterranean formation.
