Series resistor assembly for an electric motor, circuit arrangement comprising a series resistor assembly for operating an electric motor and use of said assembly

A series resistor assembly for an electric motor, in particular for an electrically driven ventilating ventilator in a vehicle, comprising:

• a series resistor for speed control of the electric motor in one or more speed stages;
• a reversible switching element integrated for at least one of the speed stages;
• and
• a multipole connection with three connection elements of which one serves as supply connection, a further one as load connection and a further one as control contact,
• wherein a return line for speed control is connected to at least one connection element, in particular to the control contact.

A series resistor assembly for an electric motor, in particular for an electrically driven ventilating ventilator in a vehicle, comprising:

• a series resistor for speed control of the electric motor in one or more speed stages;
• a reversible switching element integrated for at least one of the speed stages;
• and
• a multipole connection with three connection elements of which one serves as supply connection, a further one as load connection and a further one as control contact,
• wherein a further return line for motor control is connected to at least one connection element, in particular to the load connection.

A series resistor assembly for an electric motor, in particular for an electrically driven ventilating ventilator in a vehicle, comprising:

• a series resistor for speed control of the electric motor in one or more speed stages;
• and
• a reversible switching element integrated for at least one of the speed stages, wherein
• the electric motor is assigned a further switching element which is connected in parallel with the electric motor in a fashion making thermal contact therewith.
