Abstract
The present invention provides novel jasmonate derivative compounds, methods for their preparation, pharmaceutical compositions including such compounds, and methods of using these compounds and compositions, especially as chemotherapeutic agents for treatment of cancers, especially mammalian cancers.

A compound of Formula I:
- wherein:
- n is 0;
- R1 is OH, C1 to C12 alkoxy, or C1 to C12 substituted alkoxy;
- R2 is oxo;
- R3, R4, R5, C, D and E are each H;
- A and B are each H or halogen;
- R6 and R7 are each selected from the group consisting of fluoro, chloro, bromo, iodo, hydroxy, C1 to C12 alkoxy, and C1 to C12 substituted alkoxy, provided that at least one of R6 and R7 is bromo, fluoro, chloro or iodo;
- wherein the bonds between C3:C7, C4:C5, and C9:C10 may independently be double bonds or single bonds;
- including salts, hydrates, optical isomers, enantiomers, diastereomers, and mixtures thereof.
