Abstract

Flavanoid components of the Ginkgo biloba tree are useful to stimulate the growth of hair and are thus useful in treatment of alopecia or baldness.

Dependent claims

A method to stimulate the growth of hair in an area on the surface of a hair-bearing subject, which method comprises administering to said area a composition that comprises isolated and purified isoginkgetin.
