Abstract
The present invention provides humanized, chimeric and human anti-CSAp antibodies and anti-CSAp antibody fusion proteins that are useful for the treatment and diagnosis of various cancers, including colon cancer.
Claims20
A method of delivering a diagnostic and/or therapeutic agent to a CSAp-expressing tumor comprising:
- a) obtaining an anti-CSAp antibody or fragment thereof, wherein the anti-CSAp antibody binds to the same epitope of CSAp as an Mu-9 antibody, wherein the Mu-9 antibody comprises the light chain complementarity determining region (CDR) sequences CDR1 (RSSQSIVHSNGNTYLE, SEQ ID NO:
- 1), CDR2 (KVSNRFS, SEQ ID NO:2) and CDR3 (FQGSRVPYT, SEQ ID NO:3) and the heavy chain CDR sequences CDR1 (EYVIT, SEQ ID NO:4), CDR2 (EIYPGSGSTSYNEKFK, SEQ ID NO:5) and CDR3 (EDL);
- b) conjugating said anti-CSAp antibody or fragment to at least one diagnostic and/or therapeutic agent;
- and
- e) administering the conjugated anti-CSAp antibody or fragment thereof to a subject in need thereof wherein said administration is effective to deliver said at least one diagnostic or therapeutic agent to said CSAp-expressing tumor.
2 more elements
A method of diagnosing or detecting a CSAp-expressing cancer comprising:
- a) obtaining an anti-CSAp antibody or fragment thereof, wherein the anti-CSAp antibody binds to the same epitope of CSAp as an Mu-9 antibody, wherein the Mu-9 antibody comprises the light chain CDR sequences CDR1 (RSSQSIVHSNGNTYLE, SEQ ID NO:1), CDR2 (KVSNRFS, SEQ ID NO:2) and CDR3 (EQGSRVPYT, SEQ ID NO:3) and the heavy chain CDR sequences CDR1 (BYVIT, SEQ ID NO:4), CDR2 (EIYPGSGSTSYNEKFK. SEQ ID NO:5) and CDR3 (EDL);
- b) conjugating said anti-CSAp antibody or fragment to at least one diagnostic agent;
- c) administering the conjugated anti-CSAp antibody or fragment thereof to a subject in need thereof;
- and
- d) detecting conjugated anti-CSAp antibody or fragment bound to CSAp, wherein the presence of bound antibody or fragment is diagnostic for or indicates the presence of a CSAp-expressing cancer.
2 more elements
A method of treating a CSAp-expressing cancer comprising:
- a) obtaining an anti-CSAp antibody or fragment thereof, wherein the anti-CSAp antibody binds to the same epitope of CSAp as an Mu-9 antibody, wherein the Mu-9 antibody comprises the light chain CDR sequences CDR1 (RSSQSTVHSNGNTYLE, SEQ ID NO:1), CDR2 (KYSNICS, SEQ ID NO:2) and CDR3 (FQGSRVPYT, SEQ ID NO:3) and the heavy chain CDR sequences CDR1 (BYVIT, SEQ ID NO:4), CDR2 (EIYPGSCSTSYNEKEK, SEQ ID NO:5) and CDR3 (EDL);
- and
- b) administering the anti-CSAp antibody or fragment thereof to a subject with a CSAp-expressing cancer.
