Abstract
Regrind is mixed with at least one low density metallocene polyethylene to increase the amount of regrind that can be used in a thermoformed article.
Claims9
In a process of making an article including a step of forming a layer comprising regrind, the improvement comprising mixing from 3 to 20 wt % by weight of at least one metallocene linear low density polyethylene with regrind and forming said layer,
- wherein the regrind comprises size-reduced and/or recycled materials that can be melt-formed into articles, the regrind comprising materials compatible with polyethylene and materials not compatible with polyethylene.
