Abstract
A process for preparing a beta zeolite is described, comprising at least the following steps: i) mixing, in an aqueous medium, at least one source of at least one tetravalent element X, at least one source of fluoride anions and at least one quaternary ammonium salt with formula (H3C)2—N+—(CH2CH2C(CH3)3)2; ii) treating said mixture hydrothermally until said beta zeolite is formed.

A process for preparing a beta zeolite, comprising at least the following steps:
- i) mixing, in an aqueous medium, at least one source of at least one tetravalent element X, at least one source of fluoride anions and at least one quaternary ammonium salt comprising a cation of the formula (H3C)2—N+—(CH2CH2C(CH3)3)2;
- and optionally a trivalent element Y being any of aluminum, iron, boron, indium and gallium;
- and optionally at least one alkali and/or alkaline earth metal M,
- ii) treating said mixture hydrothermally until said beta zeolite is formed.
