Abstract
Methods and apparatus for power monitoring with sequencing and supervision are disclosed. An example method disclosed herein includes supervising a first power rail and a second power rail, sequencing a first enable signal associated with the first power rail and a second enable signal associated with the second power rail, and determining whether the first power rail is enabled based on regulation information determined while supervising the first power rail.
Claims11
A method comprising:
- supervising a first power rail from a first power supply driven from a common power supply and a second power rail from a second power supply driven from the common power supply by generating digital regulation information relating to first and second power rails;
- sequencing a first enable signal associated with the first power rail to the first power supply and a second enable signal associated with the second power rail to the second power supply;
- and
- determining whether the first power rail is enabled based on digital regulation information determined while supervising the first power rail compared to a condition specified in the sequencing.
A computer-readable memory storing machine readable instructions which, when executed, cause power monitor circuitry to:
- monitor a first power rail from a first power supply driven from a common power supply and a second power rail from a second power supply driven from the common power supply by generating digital regulation information relating to first and second power rails;
- sequence a first enable signal associated with the first power rail to the first power supply and a second enable signal associated with the second power rail to the second power supply;
- and
- determine whether the first power rail is enabled based on digital regulation information determined while monitoring the first power rail compared to a condition specified in the sequencing.
